"You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do." -- Henry Ford


     This quote really caught my eye for a few reasons. When Henry says "You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do." I think he means that if you say you are going to do this and that to everyone but then a year later still have not done it that is not what builds your reputation. People usually believe it when they see it, for instance if someone says they are going to bake cookies for the other person on the holidays and when the holiday comes around there are no cookies, than you’re not going to have a reputation of good cook, or very sweet when there are no cookies present.
